The bernette London 8 Computerised sewing machine is the flagship model of  bernette  ' London ' line. It offers everything creative sewers need, at an all excellent price/performance ratio. Remarkable for its high quality construction and needle piercing power, the bernette London 8 features an exclusive set of 155 stitch patterns. Decorative possibilities abound, with 25 decorative stitches including an alphabet with numbers, all with a variable stitch width up to 7 mm.

The memory function lets you ave up to 30 stitch settings and combinations. In addition to features like speed control, start/stop function and needle stop up/down, the bernette London 8 also offers an automatic securing function and especially bright sewing light. Eight presser feet are included for most uses.

Semi-automatic threader

If only threading the needle were always this easy! Simply operate the threader and it effortlessly pops the thread through the eye of the needle. 

Two-level presser foot

For sewing particularly think fabrics or multiple layers, the presser foot can be raised extra high (ie higher than the standard height for attaching the shank. 

Flip-flop lid and dust cover

Flip up the top lid for easy access to the thread machine, or to wind a bobbin. A convenient stitch chart is provided on the inside of the lid. Close the lid after sewing to protect your bernette from dust. 

Recessed handwheel

Used for manual operation of the needle, it underscores the simplicity of the blo:c design. What's more, the hand wheel's recessed design is ideal for protecting it from damage. 

Easy stitch selection

The London 8 boasts of the patent pending unique design selection system .Selecting stitch patterns via the dial is simplicity itself. The number of the selected stitch pattern appears in a red digital display on the machine's white front. 

Memory

The bernette London 8 is the only model in the in the bernette line that lets you store combinations of up to 30 stitches in its built in memory. You'll be able to access your stitch combinations again and again, without needing to reprogram them first. This also holds true for alphabet stitches. Your settings can be retrieved in an instance, even after long breaks in sewing. 

6 decals for even more individuality 

For each model there is a set of 6 decals with different London designs that are easy to stick onto your machine and peel off again, and which will lend a unique look to your bernette London.
