It also boasts of a Automatic Buttonhole Length Measuring System, and automatic buttonhole to aid you to reduce your work time. If you want to choose to manually stitch a button, a multi step button hole feature is available too. A button sew on program is fixed in the system as well. 

The BERNINA 350 SE offers a total of 191 stitch patterns which include alphabets and characters, 18 utitlity stitches and 3 button holes which include eyelet. 

It contains a darning program , 63 total decorative stitches and 11 quilting stitches in total. One could also use the cross stitch programs with the option of two sewing alphabets available.
